My sister and brother in law and I ended up here on a whim for dinner and it was excellent. Definitely not what you expect when you find this restaurant tucked into the trees. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We ordered the jalapeno poppers with habanero peach cream cheese, chicken cordon bleu with pierogis, steak risotto, and the seafood risotto. They were all super delicious. Definitely recommend a visit!

Oh my goodness, what a gem! So glad my husband and I finally made this trip. The food was absolutely incredible, our server was wonderful, and I love the inside of the place. The seafood chowder is literally the best EVER. Can't wait to go back!
When we arrived it was 7ish..They had three large dinner reservations and where not taking walk-ins at this time. The waitress was kind enough to ask us if we were close by so she could make reservations for us. I told her unfortunately it was our last night in PA we came from Canada to stay in the area and eat at Forester on our last night. We did research on tripadvisor and we're excited about this unique place and experience. After hearing our story the waitress was able to get approval to have us squeezed in for the last dinner. We could not have been more thankful for the kindness that was shown. We had the stuffed mushrooms, chicken wings and a salad with Candi pecans, goat cheese and strawberry all very delicious. Best advice, call ahead and book a reservation. Thanks again Forester for making our trip to PA that much memorable.
Fantastic local restaurant. Enjoyed a bacon and blue burger cooked to perfection. Generous portions as well. Seafood seems to be a theme and done very well.
Wednesday evening meal. Had a fabulously fresh and delicious salad, really superb! Others in my party had excellent seafood entrees. Friendly and attentive staff. Fast service. Reasonable prices for the full-service experience. Highly recommend.
I hope they keep that juniper gin cocktail on the menu forever because it's so unique and compliments the atmosphere of the restaurant beautifully. I also think they should have pie on the menu because the vibes remind me of the TV show "Supernatural" and obviously Dean needs his pie.
First time to this restaurant. The menu options were good. We tried the shark bites and they were delicious We were happy with our dinner selection, I had the seafood carbonara. It was delicious
